Well, I finally managed to get the second chapter uploaded, though I had to make a sacrifice in that it had to be split in two parts. Over-all, I think I've learned some important lessons tonight: -DA's uploading options are obviously designed to discourage the uploading of serious prose literature, rather the encourage it. -DA is not equipped to handle texts longer then a short novelette at best, let alone anything in the general size of a novella. -DA's uploading screen is dishonest, telling me a file is of adequate size when it is in fact too large to actually display. About here I'd make some sarkastic crack about how DA obviously ha

So, I've finally finished chapter 2 of The Queen and the Cauldron. But apparently DA refuses to show it. I'm baffled. As if the trouble I had uploading the damn thing wasn't enough, now it ads injury to insult as well! I realise we fiction writers aren't especially prioritised -if we were the uploading options wouldn't be such a damn hassle- but seriously! I tried uploading my story as a HTML, but it was too big. Fair enough, says I, it's over 10600 words, after all. So I cut it in half to make two parts. The first checks out but the second, slightly larger one, doesn't. Let me tell you right now - there is something very wrong with a syste

Also, I ended up sleeping less then I had expected; only ten ours instead of the usual 12-14. My parents persist that my insomnia and out-of-phase circadian rythm is mainly due to bad habits, regardless of what the International Classification of Sleep Disorders of 2005 has to say about it. This can be compared to telling someone suffering from severe depression to "cheer up." Never mind that it causes me a lot of mental suffering and has resisted several attempts of correction. It's very frust

Anders - where have you been?
Oh, same place I've always been.
Lurking, hmm?
Please, pleaaaaase tell me you remember the guy that did the female renders of the guilty gear characters. >.< I NEED TO KNOW WHO HE IS!!!
Ah, sorry. I did find his webpage at one point but it was all in Japanese. Plus it was a couple of years back. Wish I could help, but all I know is he vanished from DA and I haven't seen anything of him since.

A shame, really, because I liked his art too.
Also, thanks for the song in the Theme Song thread in Rumbles!
